New Website / Employer Registry for Passport to Prosperity Coming Soon

The Halton Industry Education Council has been working with Passport to Prosperity Coordinators and various stakeholders to create a state of the art website to link employers with local educators. The site will benefit educators, employers and students.

The Provincial Site will allow local employers to register and to express interest in experiential learning programs such as cooperative education. The site is being designed to be simple and quick, yet offers more features to find specific information that teachers require. One of the key features that should make life easier for teachers is the search feature. Teachers will be able to search for placements by sector, occupation, and by type of opportunity the employer is offering (e.g. coop, classroom talk, job shadowing, etc.). The site should be operating in the fall of 2007.
